Kopi Luwak Tasting

There were rumblings of a coffee that was so rare and refined, that it sold for $40 a cup. What made this coffee so unique? According to Wikipedia:

“Kopi luwak is a coffee that consists of partially digested coffee cherries, which have been eaten and defecated by the Asian palm civet.”

Troops were rallied, coffee was imported, and a tasting was held! The verdict? It tasted … earthy.
